The Castaways Sailing Club has an active cruising program for 2024 and 2025. In the past, there have been cruises to the Bahamas, Bermuda, and the East Coast of Florida, as well as short events around the local watering holes in the Palm Beach area.

2025
Jensen Beach -- Sunday-Monday, Apr 6-7
No Name Harbor -- Friday-Monday, April 25-28 (tentative)
- Day 1 (Friday, 4/25 MO1A Buoy to Lake Sylvia -- 44 miles
- Meet at MO1A buoy at 8:30
- Arrive Lake Sylvia ~5 pm
- Day 2 (Saturday, 4/26) Lake Sylvia to No Name Harbor – 31 miles (75 total)
- Depart Lake Sylvia ~9 am
- Arrive at No Name Harbor ~3 pm
- Dinner on-board or at Boaters Grill (www.boatersgrill.com)
- Day 3 (Sunday, 4/27) No Name Harbor to Lake Boca – 45 miles (120 total)
- Tweety Bird will depart at 9 am to arrive ~5 pm
- Day 4 (Monday, 4/28) Lake Boca to Lake Worth Inlet – 30 miles (150 total)
- Tweety Bird will depart at 9 am to arrive ~2 pm
While at No Name Harbor (which is located at the southern end of Key Biscayne) on Saturday night, you can cook dinner on board or go to dinner at the Boater's Grill. The restaurant is open 11-8, so Sunday breakfast will need to be onboard, unless you plan to eat there and leave late.

Lake Boca (all times are stated in “landlubber” format and quesstimated arrival times are calculated at 5.5 kts.

I send cruising invitations to all boatowners in the Castaways that I’m aware of, as well as the Cruise Directors in the Palm Beach Sailing Club, St. Lucie Sailing Club, and Hillsboro Sailing Club (we’re going to coordinate the cruise among the four of us). Jon and his wife, Gloria, own Tweety Bird, a 2023 Catalina 425, that is berthed in Riviera Beach Marina. He is a 50T USCG licensed Master with Sailing endorsement and a certified ASA Instructor. They previously owned a 2016 Leopard 44 catamaran from 2015-2022 and a 1997 Catalina 34 Mk II in San Francisco Bay from 1997-2015.
